I just downloading the 2011–12 Wikimedia Foundation Annual Plan
The 2011–12 Risk statement was a 6 page bunch of nonsense, In fact the whole plan of funding is.
Their looking to get $ 28,281,000.00 to be used for ..
salaries and wages $ 13,356,000.00 for the year / 95 people = $ 140,589.47 each.
Internet hosting $ 2,667,000.00 for the year to go towards their existing data centers in Tampa and Netherlands plus for building another, WTF when i had a website i paid for the big package and was paying $ 24.95 per Month unlimited bandwidth etc. what this is, going towards brazil and India locations.
capital expenditures $ 2,607,000.00 to build out of additional data center and equipment to support audience growth and new functionality ..
In other words this plan and the internet hosting plan is going towards building two bullshit centers one in brazil and the other in India which am sure they will just rent two small dirty warehouses and work out of them.
fundraising exps. $ 1,094,000.00 goes towards "donation processing fees, charitable registrations and fundraising support" your kidding?
external contractors $ 2,572,000.00 technical contractors and writing/ design support. Am not sure what this part is for since the look hasn’t changed.
travel $ 1,646,000.00 so they can vacation in brazil and India.
wikimania travel $ 96,000.00 goes towards their pocket money while their in brazil and India.
legal and audit fees $ 555,000.00 goes towards trademarks on what? I don’t know .. also it goes towards legal defense fees and audit fees more bullshit.
facilities and operations $ 1,674,000.00 office rent, furniture and equipment, supplies and maintenance .. this is part three for brazil and India.
volunteer and staff development $ 776,000.00 this goes towards setting up workshops to talk with people, traveling themselves there and their bonus salary.
merchandise $ 300,000.00 for merchandise for online store, I cannot find this store?
awards and grants $ 938,000.00 this goes towards having a parties, dinners and then giving some poor volunteers some piece of paper telling them how great they were for helping.
