my school is very against Wikipedia they believe its all wrong and you should use ANY website other then wiki! isnt that insane! anyone can make a website and fill it up with BS! so i have set up a way to get the word out about wiki vs school protected i have but i need some hard facts to prove wiki is not as bad as they think . plz help im doing research about it but if you know anything plz send a link if possible cuz need facts . AND this is no school protected i have a cool way to get the word out without anyone knowing its me ;)
i understand that it can be edited by anyone but they want us using random sites online its easy to make a random site online and put false info on it im not trying to tell them to use it but to not ban it from the server (we cant access it from the computers) because its just as easy to make a site now as it is to edit wiki
well dave B. you proved me very wrong and that wasnt the only thing i was getting the word out about but i really understand now y they block it and more. and the part that made me think about is true that we do need to learn to reasearch which i can do more succsefuly well then others some things i just got ta ask and I luv being proved wrong lmfao i dont care whos right just the truth of it. and i lately used a bat (classic hacker program) (cmd) to look at the budget of the school it was a honest accident i meant to just hook my phone to the citrix internet to download my documents to my computer but id did successfully but accidentally downloaded all files from the budget directors computer and the principals and all computers within a 1/4 of a mile radious rofl woops. but i hid my ip i deleted it but also took a look at it and noticed the school doing something honestly wrong with our budget. our technology use is insanly stupid! we bought 100s of ipods and ipads to replace text bo
oks and then decided to stop once we already bought 200 ipods and 75 ipads and now its free use to teachers for the class. so i put together a nice list to first tell everyone about how much technology we have and is going to wast! we dont even use text books we just use ipods now and look it up its called BYOT in our school that manages our technology system and they seem to be doing a horrific job! im 16 years old and did a awesome 1/4 mile radios download on all online computers with out being noticed HOW FREAKING INSANE IS THAT! i made my iphone a modified portible computer it doesnt even have the same software it use to i totally recreated it. if i can do this shouldnt they do something with all those ipods and make a app with the text book atleast? and why are we always using calculator?!?! i havent not used a calculator since 3rd grade cuz THE SOL says we can use it so its alright for us to be STUPID and not learn how to use it just remember the basic formula?! know its a huge factor for the schools budget but then they need a way to say they dont want sols and they want the school district to destroy sols and come up with something better cuz sols are just making us stupid! i can monitor and destroy any computer program on in the whole school cuz its networked in everythings connected in the school and i am able to monitor people if there on facebook and terminate the browser there on (not the app) even if there using there phones if there connected to the network. i tested it and terminated things on my friends computer and my phone browser if i can do that that should make cheating and gaming without permission easier to catch . i mean i can do a lot more and im just concerned that we are not using any of our technology correctly or to its full potential and i did all this with not even spending a dime on the programs i made. just countless man ours. if the budgets that bad then stop buying so many apple products and start using them if yo
u actualy want them. ive asked more then 300 people on facebook and 20+ people at school saying they rarely or never used it not one said they use it more then 3 times a month?!? weird right well i talked to the tech person at the school SHE DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING! she made promises to everyone saying that all this tech will be used saying shes going to do this and that when i found out she was just over her head and when it all came she made 1 app for english and called it quits and was forgotten about. she didnt even finish the english app she started she got lost on the tutorials she found on youtube! and i kinda cleared the rumors of why she was fired :P all im saying is now we have computers in every classroom over 200 ipods and ipads and we are doing nothing with them just sitting there with the money that our track team (team captain for varcity :P) was going to use for our new track field and the new football field. so it just sucks so now i got a prezent in store with all my fil
es and know how to make this stuff usefull so now i am giving out my seceret on how to build and app that can terminate websites for teachers other cool things for any smart phone and more i told them about a program good edmodo wich was cool cuz that is now widely used across my school :D Success! this is my 2nd time doing this by getting the word out and this time not just to all teachers but to every phone and computer and its a simple program sending an email to everyone on the network. telling them all about new programs and cool ways to minimize cheating and my personal thoughts on sols and if they disagree i always send back to the one who said something telling them i understand :) im not spamming nor am i hurting im helping our school and hopefully one day the school disctrict get out of this 9 million $ budget cut by saving money and getting better at the same time :)
