Open Question: Why does Wikipedia usually call an electrical engineer a computer scientist?

I am fond of reading about computing, especially people and companies, often in Wikipedia. When I read about the person or inventor of that certain technology, the introduction says he is a computer scientist. But when you read about his education or biography or whatever, it says "he studied" or "finished a degree", etc in electrical engineering or even physics sometimes. It doesn't even say that he study computer science. Why? sorry, typo error -- "study" should have been "studied". haha..
