I don't trust wikipedia... but now I am having a lot of trouble understanding all this. I want to learn Mandarin Chinese really bad, I have family from China. But I don't know where to go.. and I have very little money and nonetheless my local college does not teach Mandarin.
What sources can I trust?
And I want to learn how, and read everything that has to do with Hanyu Pinyin.
I want to understand Pinyin, and the history of Pinyin
Good grief!! All I want to know is where to go to get factual information.
I really want to learn this language!! I want to know everything about Mandarin!!
