I could go either way on this, as I will. However, I would like the input of others, as I am still somewhat divided. I am aware that this question has been raised before, however, I am not satisfied with the answers left several years ago.
Do you think that Wikipedia is accurate? I first and foremost, do not. Despite what people post, inaccurate information is not deleted right away. They don't have the resources to check up on everything everyone says, nor could anyone or any group of people - instantaneously, or over several lifetimes.
That said, I strongly believe in that the world should have the right to voice their opinions, and that history cannot be writ without the voices of all that are part of it. The history that we know was writ by a select group of people, who by many means said what they did. By the same token, many individuals' voices are skewed by outside forces, or by personal experiences (without considering those of others).
I'm an expert in many things, and will admit that I know nothing about many other things. Yet when I try to give a well reasoned and sourced complement to any Wikipedia article, my comments are deleted within a day or two.
