Resolved Question: Would you get in trouble for telling people off on Wikipedia?

I had to deal with a few problem editors/contributors on there - they were disrepectul, condescending and tried to insult my intelligence and act like I didn't know what I was talking about, and contrary - something is wrong when you try to present and verify a piece of info YOU know is true and factual and then these people try to counter that by CLAIMING they did something and posting a LIE. Like I said, they were trying to make me look stupid and act like I didn't know what I was talking about. They were trying to give me a hard time over some contributions I was trying to make and fight me over it. I didn't go there to be abused, disrepected and mistreated. I haven't done anything Wikipedia-related since then because I need a new computer. I am going to report them when I get my new computer. I did think about going to their talk pages and/or sending them a messages to tell them off (I haven't been on there so long I forgot how things work) - would I get in trouble for doing that?
