Question: How can I be a Wikipedia administrator? What steps do I take to achieve that? How long that would be typically?

I created a dozen of articles within a few years and made more than tens of thousands of edits, but I felt I would be better off if I became an admin, due to the vandalism and abuse of innocent users by well-established editors and non-editors themselves, I seen throughout the years. Thank you. And btw, when it comes to the adminship process, it's pretty complicated how to go through them step by step.
