Open Question: Why is Wikipedia so stupid?

Why is Wikipedia such a stupid s­h­i­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­t­t­y site? I mean, the staff or whatever the f­u­­c­k are just lulz-killers. I try to make constructive edits ("vandalism" they call it) and they ban me and s­h­­i­t. I just want a straight answer: Why are Wikipedia staff such uptight a­n­a­l retentive lulz-killing f­u­­c­k­s?
