I've started editing a newly created wiki. However, it's severely lacking in templates; it doesn't have the ones needed for references. I tried to add those myself by copying them from another wiki, but they seem very complex. I copied both Template:Cite web and Template:Citation/Core but just copying them didn't seem to work, and unfortunately my knowledge of templates doesn't extend much further than that. How would I go about adding them? The wiki is http://www.thedeadlinger.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
(It's using MediaWiki software, by the way, it's not on Wikia.)
