Open Question: Why do people keep donating to Wikipedia without even questioning what they're using the money for?

If I read one more time that Wikipedia needs money to host its website, I'm going to scream (I've already screamed.) Wikipedia is a scam. It's a non-profit, please give us your money scam. Please look at their financial information: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/foundation/d/dd/2010-11_Wikimedia_Foundation_Annual_Plan_FINAL_FOR_WEBSITE.pdf As you can see, of the $9 million they wanted in 2010, only $1 million was for hosting the website. All the rest was for bs, including $3.4 million for salaries. THEY ONLY HAVE 35 EMPLOYEES, none of whom actually creates a single page on Wikipedia. If you look, the rest is just as wasteful. If people want to donate to Wiki, I say go for it. But at least know what you're really donating too - someone's new mansion, new boat, and new hummer.
