my friend created a wikipedia article of me and its appraently in creation process is that allowed or no?

Wikipedia is the first place I go to for music discographies, when the band is known it's ususally a really good source. But there are bands not on there, or bands with no specific album pages, but only a listing of albums, and sometimes albums are missing from the discography. I'd like to help make their discographies more complete, but I have no experience at all in making a page. For example, I could definitely make an album page for some of the ones that don't have one on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_Seconds_(band). I could certianly put the album art, year of release and tracklist there, and than link to it on the band page in the list of albums, but I have no idea.

I have an account on Wikipedia , made more than 10 edits, 4 days old, i uploaded image on wikipedia several times, regarding my article, but everytime wiki guys remove it with objection of copyright. i have made an article on a person who died few years back,ofcourse the article is verified-he was a noble man. We have only one portrait of that person and i have uploaded the image several times by giving reference that it has been taken from my Facebook page and my blog only but wikipedia top users always remove my image on background of copyright . how may i bring copyright of the image which exist on my Facebook page only . how to upload image then?? and i am adamant to upload image,its like paying a little tribute to that person from my side. p.s note that i always upload ,then i click "this is free work" --->"this is entirely my own work" i have been blocked several times on wiki regarding this so please help... i hope i have made question clear, where i need help.

Can a regular schmo like me get a Wikipedia page? I have interesting facts too.

When you're talking to someone and they start jabbering on some topic, stating facts and whatnot like they're some learned genius, and you realize they're just quoting the Wikipedia page on that topic, which is worse: a] The fact that they're using Wikipedia content as their own words like a poser b] The fact that you know the page they're ripping off and can call them on it like a nerd Just curious.

i posted about a park but they didnt want a copyrighted material, i got it from a govt website because its trusted. i dont copy from blogs. then they said make your own. i made my own, its a short one so they want it removed? how do i ever post an article? how do they know if i were approved to quote a material?

Hi I have a page that my friend made on my account and the page is called Angel Aria De La Torre. I cant get in my account and delete it, because I dont know the username and password to it. I didn't use an email either, so no way of deleting it by myself..What do I do and what's the fastest way to delete it?? Thanks in advance :D

As long as the animated picture is relevant to the topic at hand and subsection? Does Wikipedia have any policies on animated GIF images, or are they even compatible? I made a video of something, and was thinking it would be neat to turn a short segment of it into one of those animated pictures.

I know its possible to download wikipedia from its dump(about 9.36 GB, english edition).
